From Styrum in the north of the city to Saarn in the south, park built for the Mülheim Regional Garden Show of 1992 (MüGa for short) extends right along the river Ruhr. Themed gardens pay tribute to Mülheim’s twin towns, while playgrounds are perfect for keeping children entertained.
Entry into the MüGa is free; the exception is paid major events, such as the Pfingst-Spektakulum
Nobody likes bans and in our favourite garden you can also do a lot! However, to make sure that everyone feels comfortable, some things are still prohibited:
- barbecues
- dogs
- glass bottles
- noise & loud music
- leave garbage
- alcohol: on game and football fields and 20 meters around it is absolutely taboo!
- camping
- mopeds, cars etc.
