Directly across from Castle Broich, the imposing Municipal Hall hosts cultural events, festivals and corporate congresses. Built in the 1920s, it’s notable for its classic elegance. Indeed, the architectural grandeur of the Municipal Hall, as well as of the Old Town Baths and the Historic Town Hall on the other side of the river, earned Mülheim the nickname “The Venice of the Ruhr“.
