The Auberg in Mülheim is paradise for all our four-legged friends. Here, in a lush 5,000 square metre meadow, owners can let their dogs off the leash and let them run freely. The special dog park is fully fenced off, so if you’re not a dog lover, there’s no risk of you bumping into happy, energetic pets!
Paradise for long walks and hiking tours
Though it’s just a short distance from Mülheim city centre, it feels like a million miles away. The peace and quiet, combined with the nature, makes the Auberg the perfect place to leave your worries behind and get away from it all for a short while. There are a number of paths to follow, from the easy to the challenging. We recommend following the Mülheim Circular Walk. Today, the Auberg today is managed and protected by the Regionalverband Ruhr (RVR) and is one of the last large uninterrupted meadow landscapes in the western Ruhr area.
